One of the primary goals in my work is to break the chains that hold my clients back from making healthier choices. This means addressing the emotional, psychological, and sometimes even societal factors that influence their relationship with food.
With over 25 years of experience as a dietitian, I have had the privilege of working with countless individuals, each with their own unique relationship to food. I truly enjoy hearing my patients' stories and understanding the emotions and experiences that influence their food choices. Through these experiences, I’ve come to realize that no two patients are alike—it's like comparing apples and oranges. Each person’s journey is different, and that’s what makes the work I do so fulfilling.
I believe that when we compare ourselves to others or chase an ideal version of what we "should" be, it robs us of the joy in our own path. My approach is rooted in understanding and compassion, focusing on helping each individual find their own balance and happiness with food, free from judgment and comparison. It’s not about fitting into a mold—it’s about embracing your unique story and learning how to make food work for you, in a way that nurtures both your body and your emotional well-being.
